Privacy Policy

At MetaMe, privacy is not an afterthought. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we use it only to deliver what you asked for, and we never sell it.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run activatemetame.com and deliver your products. Contact details: your name and email address when you claim the free guide, join the newsletter or buy something. Order details: what you bought, when, and how much you paid. Course progress: which lessons you've completed, so you can pick up where you left off. Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Basic usage data: technical info your browser sends (like device type and pages viewed), used in aggregate to improve the site.

2. What we don't do

We don't sell your data to anyone, ever. We don't share your information except where strictly needed to run the service, such as payment processing, email delivery and secure hosting. We don't use your information to train AI models.

3. How we use your information

To deliver your purchases and give you access to your library. To send receipts, download links and sign-in links. To send marketing emails, only if you opted in. To answer your questions. To improve the site using anonymised trends.

4. Emails

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can pause emails for 30 days instead. Receipts and access emails are always sent, because they're part of your purchase.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to run the site, your cart and your library sign-in. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only load if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can change your mind any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

6. How we protect your data

Your data is stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest. Paid files are kept private and delivered only through short-lived links. No system is completely risk free, but we take security seriously and review our practices regularly.

7. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and secure cloud hosting. They only get the information they need to do their job and can't use it for their own purposes.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email activatemetame@gmail.com and we'll sort it. If you ask us to delete your details, we keep only a scrambled fingerprint of your email so you're never added back to our list by mistake.

9. Data retention

We keep order records for as long as the law requires (usually 5 to 7 years for tax purposes). Other information is kept while you're a customer or subscriber, and deleted on request.

10. Children

activatemetame.com is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us their details, contact us and we'll remove them promptly.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the effective date at the top.
